I can think of so many memories attached to sunsets-- most of them on my mission as I ran for the bus. There is something about the beauty and glory of the day ending so fantastically that makes our soul capture its own picture and hold it in our heart for future recall.
Arizona has the most fantastic sunsets of any place I have ever been or lived. Without a beach I would have never thought it could compare, but the sunsets are spectacular almost every night! They've been especially colorful and beautiful lately because monsoon season has started. For one of our celebrations of Bruce's birthday we went on a small hike by our house to see the sunset. The only unfortunate thing about sunsets in Arizona is that they are so early we don't always have time to go somewhere and enjoy them--- so this was a special treat!
