Big Announcement...

Well the Bruce & Kirstin Gardner family is officially growing. We will be adding a litte boy to our family on or around May 23rd. (I'm hoping for the on... but we'll see what happens). We had our ultrasound last week and everything looks great. I can't believe how good the technology is--- it even looked like he had Savannah's nose. Savannah is VERY into babies these days so it should be an exciting addition for her too. Wish us luck in chosing a name before he gets here!

Santa...

Santa was really good to us this year and brought us lots of great gifts. The one we are all looking the most forward to is featured below... Savannah's new slide. I didn't get any great pictures of the whole thing, but so far it has supplied hours of fun for Savannah and all of her cousins.

Welcome home Robert....

Bruce's brother Robert got home from his mission in December and it was the family's first Christmas together in 4 years! We had so much fun playing with cousins! The family has grown quite a bit in the last couple of years and we are looking forward to it growing in the next few months. We should have four new additions by June. Joseph in engaged, baby Gardner in May, and baby Checketts in June... since the other addition isn't yet official I'll leave it at that. These are some fun family photos we took while everyone was all together.

Cowgirl?

Bruce's parents have a barn and some animals in their backyard and the grandkids LOVE it. I'm so glad that Savannah is getting some exposure to horses and animals so she won't be a scardy cat like me! She was lucky enough to go on three different pony rides over Christmas break and loved it... well mostly:) Before you know it she'll be a rodeo queen at Lehi days.

Bench

This is a bench that Bruce made out of my parents old bed. Doesn't it look great? We got his mom to help us with the cushion and I love the way it all turned out. Now we're on the hunt for some fun pillows to go with it. I think it will make a great reading spot on our back porch :)

Florida...

I had training in Florida a few weeks ago and talked my family into coming out too. It was a lot of fun! We stayed at a beautiful resort that had lots of fun pools and spent some time at Sea World. I was in training a lot of the time so I don't have many pictures, but here's a few highlights.

Downtown Disney... it was fun to see all of the decorations, but it was super crowded!

I think this was our favorite part of Downtown Disney... the lego structures. Savannah loved the dogs. Bruce informed me that Legoland is Danish :)

This was at a cool hotel we saw at Disney's Boardwalk. The pool was a pirate ship-- how fun. I think it will be really fun to go back in a few years when Savannah can really get into all of it.

This was after we got home and we were trying to unpack... Savannah is growing up so much. She is talking more and more everyday and as you can see "purse" is one of her favorite words. We love our little munchkin.

Happy Halloween!!!

We had a great Halloween! I think most holidays are getting progressively more fun at this age! We had a little party out at Bruce's parents' barn complete with chili, pumkin bread bowls, cornbread, candy corn etc. etc. We also had fun watching the kids eat donughts off a string and Bruce's little sister bob for apples...

We tried for a Wizard of OZ theme... although Bruce doesn't think that Savannah looked anything like a lion.

We decided that Wizard of Oz had monkeys... right? Notice Savannah's hand is in her mouth in every picture. She's not one to be shy about food.

What does the lion say? Rar!

Savannah had this game all figured out... you just rip the donught off the string and then put it in your cup for later. ;)

Hope you all had a great Halloween... we are now even more excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
