The Phoenix Zoo

On Friday Savannah Keaton and I
Went to the Phoenix Zoo. We had fun despite the heat!! Our favorites were the monkeys, orangutans, lemurs, and of course the splash parks!! I was surprised that I really enjoyed learning about the animals and how they live at the zoo and in the wild. We are excited to go in the winter when the animals will want to come out and play.

For savannah to play at. At first she wasnt so shure but after about 5 minutes she was drenched.

On Sunday we were lucky enough to be able to go to Oliver's blessing! We took advantage of the opportunity to take pictures of our tired kids after church...

Savannah was not very excited about sharing her Grandma while her cousins were here. One night we were all sitting out in the backyard enjoying ourselves. The kids were playing and her Grandma was holding baby Oliver. Savannah threw a fit until her Grandma gave Oliver to Jessica, and Savannah could sit on her lap. About 20 seconds later she was ready to play again... so silly!

Cousins & Rapelling!

Matt, Jessica, Russel, and Oliver came to visit! We had a lot of fun while they were here... rappelling, biking, swimming, playing games, and just hanging out. :)

Russel and Savannah were pretty cute with each other. This is a photo of Russel doing pretty much what he did all day... steal Savannah's food! He would take something and wouldn't give it up until she had something else to steal... she tolerated it pretty well. I thought she was doing a pretty good job at sharing until the next day at church. She wouldn't let him near any food that she had, but was willing to share with everyone else. I guess she learned her lesson!

Camping!!

We finally got to go camping! We had a lot of fun out on our canoe and in the wilderness. We just wish it wouldn't have rained so much and that our little girl would have slept a lot more!

 

 

 

WE DID IT!

I have to say that I am a very proud wife today... Bruce graduated from Law School yesterday. It has been a pretty hectic week and yesterday was no exception. But when we finally made it to his graduation and got settled I started to feel a huge rush of relief and excitement! We are done with school!!! Just a couple more months until we'll be done with the Bar Exam too! Wish us luck.

 

 

 

 

PS We also celebrated Becca and Bruce's Dad's birthdays yesterday. Present time was especially fun since Bruce got a NEW GUN!!
